Is it now required that folk wishing to lead CTC rides are required to attend a ride leader training course?

If it is (and I'm not saying it's not), it's news to me. Sounds like a move that's likely to make it even more difficult to get volunteers to come forward.

Where did you hear this? What of rides which are already in the runs list?
